listen Ame clearly wants to seperate her career from Gura, and she has said as much, this is not a Rrat. Gura has been staying away from Ame, and Ame has been creating a career for herself.

I was in the stream this conversation happened.

-Chat wanted Gura to watch E3.
-Gura wanted to watch E3, however Ame is already doing this, and Gura doesn't want to stomp on Ame's stream - she's being considerate of Ame
-Chat suggests she ask Ame if she can watch E3 with her
-Gura turns it down, saying she doesn't want to impose. I think she's still trying to be considerate for Ame's desire to make her own career. again this is the whole numbers shit driving a wedge between Gura and everyone else. it's sorta sad to watch.
-Chat suggests she ask, and sorta push her a bit by saying her way of thinking is very "introverted"

-Obviously Gura asked Ame about it and Ame wasn't happy.

-You can tell how upset Ame was about this by how much she's clearing her throat. that's a verbal "pause" to allow her to chose her words. I think she still wants to separate herself from Gura and doesn't want to collab on E3. She's mad that gura's chat pushed her into asking for a collab. what's worse is there is no real way out for Ame on this one. If she says no, she's a bad guy to 3mil gura fans. If she says yes, it opens the door on her becoming gura's sidekick again.

Hence her threats to the gura chat that created this situation. She clearly doesn't want to do this, but she HAS to do this, so she wants to make sure no one pushes Gura into a collab with her again, she just doesn't know how to do it, hence the vague threats.

She's not being a bitch. Being a successful vtuber is clearly something she wants badly. it's why she wanted to stop collabing with Gura. not because she wasn't becoming a success, but because it didn't feel like HER success, it felt like Gura's, especially with how much her chat would talk about gura in her chat. So I sympathize with her position.

I just can't help but feel sorry for how shitty this must make Gura feel. We as Gura fans should be ashamed of ourselves for putting Gura in this position. And the fact some of the autists in here will take Ame's frustration as a reason to attack her for being mean to gura or her chumbuds only underlines how shitty gura's going to feel about this as this drama unfolds.

I just hope the autists in this thread don't make it worse for Gura by going after ame over this.

There's a stupid dynamic between content creator and viewer where you simultaneously have to balance 'play to your audience' with 'be yourself, they're here for you'. You should listen to what your audience says because if you might lose them. You also shouldn't do anything you don't want to because your heart isn't in it and it'll turn out forced or worse, boring. A lot of people get really pissy when people make suggestions because when you pressure a creator they either say no and reject their audience or say yes and reject themselves.

in case anyone is wondering about the karaoke audio mega, i'm caught up with work, and i'm not sick anymore. i don't think it was an ear infection and i think that was a coincidence. instead i think i have earwax clogged in my right ear. overall it sounds about 2 dB quieter than the left one but the difference is all above about 1 kHz. really this just means i can't do anything that requires stereo panning or EQ judgement, which doesn't affect the karaoke stuff. i'm about 17% done and hope to finish some time tomorrow or monday.
