I think she can improve with which viewers she gives attention, she definitely needs to for the sake of her mental health, this is killing her. But it's not surprising given the one thing she was terrified of during the break. So many viewers have been actually cheating during her streams. That's the one thing that doesn't make her jealous but actually upsets her.
In an ideal world she would stop giving them complete attention but that simply won't happen. If she says fuck the cheaters then she's going to end not caring about anyone in her audience. If you want a streamer who cares, you have to deal with this sometimes too. If she was apathetic and didn't care when people leave, she wouldn't give a shit in the first place.
The reason she's like this is because it has happened, many, many times before. Watch an old VOD. Half the oilers and regulars aren't there. Since her grandfather's death she's become more and more extremely shutin, relies on us more and more, and has grown much more dependent on the chat in general. People leaving now, especially since it's been so much longer, it's always going to hurt her. The main issue is the timing, all of this happening around her break is why she lost it so bad.
She is never going to be able to shrug it off because she cares too much. Can she get better? Yes. Can she get better at focusing on the people that stay? Of course.
