Honestly we need to wait and see just how much of an improvement chat gpt 5 shall be. If it becomes batter at coding than gpt 4, and also helps explain the code it makes for the user to better understand it, I think the possibilities could really open up to many new paths and opportunities yet to be foreseen

I think I understand his way of thinking, but the whole joke is that Neuro says random shit and sometimes it is wrong, wow, magnificent, spectacular, amazing. Might as well just make a mafia game discord call for same effect but way less effort.
And besides, even assuming that Neuro can properly function in game and voice calls, if he's gonna make a big collective collab out of it, it technically makes Neuro the star of the show, and others will have to dance around it whether they like it or not. I'm not sure how much other participants will like it. And Neuro functioning properly is still a big question.

I think it just comes down to her being turned off by the experience of the delay. I also think it's weird that vedal decided to not stream the collab. I think the camilla drama genuinely made him reconsider collabing with her and he just tried to do what would piss off the least amount of people after the reaction to the initial cancelation. And while I agree that dev streams started becoming a nuisance, collabs are a tricky subject. Neuro requires an unconventional approach and it's hard to say how one person or another will work with her. So far we had a fairly big spectrum of characters and almost every collab was fairly distinct and entertaining in their own way. I like having a variety even if it means some bad apples here and there.
And without collabs at all we would have nothing but chatting streams, which, I would say, would be a really sad state of affairs.

Neuro could've survived just fine without the collabs and vedal if she just played more games with a wide variety of genres to keep things fresh. Honestly I don't know. When I watch just chatting streams I often notice same chatters asking same fucking questions day after day wondering what wicked force pushes them into this willing groundhog day simulation, but then I stumble upon some streamers talking random nonsence for thousands of viewers they might've had for years, and it gets me wondering if maybe I am the odd one here.
Other AI streams fucked themselves from what I know, or never went big in the first place. Perhaps if Neuro did nothing but chat talking there would be more defined and dedicated albeit smaller fanbase, perhaps she'd still had her viewers in thousands for a long time, who knows.

I wholeheartedly agree that going for "AI girl learns to play games" narrative would probably be better, easier, more unique and more reliable all around, but so far I don't think Vedal has shown any interest in exploring this side of things, and instead he insists on trying to make Neuro more social, however silly it might be.

I'm no experienced coder, but I've seen a screenshot somewhere of Vedal saying that he made AI play Pacman, dated 2019 I believe, so it probably depends on the game in question. I'm sure he could pick a simple game that's easy to make AI for for a start and go more complex from there. She's pretrained so she doesn't actually learn or remember anything long term from collabs. At most, she can develop a temporary bias towards certain outputs. Anything else is manual intervention after the collab to create an illusion of memory.
