I found Hololive after some of my favorite fighting game streamers played Idol Showdown. I watched some Hololive streams and they were super fun and really funny. I want to start watching more and following the streamers, but before I do that I kinda want to ask a quick question. I also happen to be trans; are the streamers cool with trans people? I've become a fan of some people before only to be burned later on, and I wouldn't want that to happen again. As long as they're accepting of trans folks and have no issues with them it's fine.

Preparation for new gens takes time. I think Lapu confirmed they spent like a year training beforehand, and council also spent months alone in their discord before debuting. Cover's main office was also busy with the IPO and new studio last year so they probably couldn't spare more attention for EN last year. I would argue that Foobs Scatman is the reason we ended up with HoloEN.
