I'm going to be honest, Pippa is amazing. Simply amazing. She has so much charisma and charm and she can really get along with people so easily, there's something special about her that draws people in.
She does have her issues, her honesty can sour interactions with people, most people don't like negative opinions so formal interactions are often stiff and very sanitized but for better or worse, usually for better, Pippa just has almost no filter and speaks her mind.
I seriously believe Pippa is one of the greatest vtuber talents out there. So many vtubers would have been dull or just boring in that unplanned sort of situation but Pippa was fun, she got along with him in a very natural way, and she was cute with her shy moments, it was just a great collab.
Tho to give her extra credit she has gotten this good after a lot of experience, she wasn't naturally this good, she had to polish those skills.
I'm just so proud of our yabbit.

Not anymore the newer generastions of glass glass modules are already good enough that you can produce energy at market price. Generally you don't need subsidies anymore to build and run a solar power plant. Technology really did some huge steps in that direction.

So they need to buy in energy from other countries for HUGE amounts of money.

What market are you talking about? Last time I checked the theoretical peak efficiency of solar panels was around 22% meaning that at best 22% of the solar energy hitting it will be converted into DC power. Of course, you must also factor things like latitude to calculate tilt optimal tilt.

Look at the picture. Even in the data sheets the manufacturers are telling people the panels will immediately start producing less power than what they're rated for. 80% of the rating at half of the 50 years you say people are planning to run these solar plants.
This post is getting long, but you're also forgetting another major factor, footprint. Coal, nuclear, gas, etc. all have much smaller footprints than solar power and produce orders of magnitude more power.

Thorium reactor. The material for it is about as common as lead and makes literally like 1/1000th the level of nuclear waste that uranium power plants do. And that little teeny bit waste they do make, will dissipate in 500 years instead of 10,000.

Unironically they were never developed because you couldn't get material to make nukes with out of it, and nuclear power was developed at a time that was a critical plus for cold war stockpiles. Nowadays it's a plus that it doesn't make potentially fissile material so random countries can use them without people wondering what they're gonna do with the biproducts. They're starting to be developed now but it's like 60 years overdue for fuck's sake.

Thorium is a nonstarter I unironically think molten salt reactors are the most realistic when done in modular design! You really want something you don't need like 20 PhD grade scientists to run!
There's an MSR company that use the certification process for nuclear powered ships to deliver their reactors via barge so it doesn't have to go over train tracks or via air that's very promising who've got units to be delivered by 2025 in the works!
