I went to school with a girl like that). am I right to assume that her appeal is the kind of unpolished unassuming "girl next door" vibe you get from her? combined with her art being fucking great let's be honest, but I can always just follow her on Twitter for that

Not quite. There's that but there's also the "honest, hard worker" part that is I think really important. Her stories about how she was before and how she is now are always nice. Add to that great taste in anime and music, pretty good at video games, and you've got a pretty good package. I think for me it's more of a "ideal but still realistic friend",
However, if you don't enjoy her content, don't force yourself to watch her. Do whatever you enjoy anon.

I usually listen to music from anime I like, and sometimes when I hear Japanese bands mentioned I go give them a listen. I also have a few friends that are a bit deeper in Japanese culture than I am so it helps

Well for one I think she cute.

But a big reason why you should like her is that she is a former hikikomori who worked hard and became a professional artist. Then she became a hololive idol while still doing art professionally. Its pretty inspiring. Just watching the amount of effort that goes into one of her drawings is impressive.

Ina knows what it is like to be stuck in a depressed state where you have really nothing to look forward to (which im sure we have all experienced or are currently experiencing). She wants everyone to work to be the best they can be and do what makes them happy. Out of all the streamers I've seen, she probably cares about her audience the most.

Also she is just a sweet, reserved girl in general. And I think for a lot of guys that makes perfect wife material.

Then you're wrong, a hikikomori is someone that spends most/all their time at home, and doesn't socialize much (internet doesn't count here). You might be mixing the term with NEET. While there's an overlap (lots of NEETs are hiki), it's not the case for everyone. Even if she moved out, I doubt she would spend more time outside

Yes, it has a pretty good reputation as executable pseudocode and an excellent standard library

Algol actually*, Lisp and Fortran precedes C by 25 years yet people have been able to adapt. Syntax has never been a problem.

They teach it because there are jobs in it. I wouldn't call JS easy, prototype-based inheritance is a bit weird, there are lots of weird edge cases that can throw off new programmers, the runtime errors (x is undefined) are usually pretty shitty. Also, JS tends to use functional programming more than "classic" languages which throw off people used to other languages.
