100% this. She was blowing money left and right and still had no problem taking month long breaks. The issue is that she had to do basically everything on her own or wait for GYARI to get things moving. At one point I remember this board trying to keep her in /lig/ because VOMS Generals were too dead to stay up. Had GYARI actually treated vtubing seriously she might have stayed there, but there's no point in being the face of an agency that doesn't really benefit you for being in it.
It's all very baffling to think about... Pikamee was the last audition to be accepted to VOMS and could have easily been passed up. Soon enough GYARI recognized her true talent and told her she was perfect for the job. Pikamee brought the numbers, typically doing 10x the ccv of everyone else and even with the tribalists detracting her for streaming in two platforms she was still growing. After all of that she's still using whatever jank that was slapped together for the group and some relatively unimpressive merch. GYARI's game plan was to provide the talents with some OC models that advertised the merch he could profit off of and that's it. Meanwhile someone like Pikamee felt out of place for getting all this support from her audience and having basically nothing to "give back" with. It's no wonder she wanted out for months, or even possibly since before gen 2 debut.
