Imagine you join a corpo, pour your sweat, blood, and tears into boosting your brand and the corpo with your gen and others. 3~5+ years go by, a yab hasn't gotten you terminated yet but staff just keeps putting you on the back burner now and they more or less imply it's time to retire. That model with all the branding with voice packs and merch? They all belong to the corpo and you won't be getting any residuals from future sales. So you try to go indie, but you're so used to having some sort of staff help you on stuff you can't quite get the hang of being full indie. Then you look up vshojo and you can join and keep your indie model. Heck, even commission a new one and just use it since vshosjo doesn't want your IP, they just want a % of your merch sales. You can come and go as you please since it's by invite only. You don't have the same level or grade of support as your old corpo but at least there's something there and they aren't taking a cut of your donos either.

You're just wrong. Mori is tied to Cover as they're the ones who own the record contract. She's the one that's contractually obligated to fulfill it and if she quits she both loses it, the rights to the songs she's created as Mori, as well as the one liable for the defunct status of her contract.


The only one I could see truthfully quitting and going to VShojo is Haachama, but I also feel that VShojo would take absolutely any of the Cover talents as they hope to poach the viewers that inevitably follow streamers to their new lives.
