it's the weird shading and the eye shadow, mainly. I was actually a bit excited over the cartoon lore vids thinking that would be the model, since it was a pretty unique look similar to pikamee. Instead we got what might as well be any other vshojo's weird alt model. Hopefully I'll get used to it.

I can see a version of this character that could work perfectly for Pika's personality, but this design went too much into the generic, soul-less, cutesy anime look that a lot of other vshojos have.
