She never hated her fans. She always loved the deadbraps. It was more the idol culture stuff she didn't get, and I feel like a lot of that was because she didn't view herself as being feminine enough for it. She's really come into her own in that regard though.
The thing that's nice about liking Mori is that you know she has little to no filter from the start, so when she expresses good feelings for the people who support her, it feels genuine. I'll be honest. I just can't stand Mori's voice at all. I don't know how to describe it, but the tone, cadence, and even her singing voice makes it impossible to enjoy watching her.
There was a comment that I read about a month ago that described it close to my feelings, and it was like- "Mori speaks like a first grade teacher who doesn't allow you to go to the restroom even though you're about to shit your pants."
I enjoyed her initial debut surprisingly, but her voice absolutely filtered me as time went on. There's something grating about it that I rather prefer listening to 1000 hours of Mumei's autistic uncomfortable public crying fits than Mori for even 1 hour.

And then they play together at the off collab and expand that even more so it becomes a thing where vtuber groups try and play together in person for special moments.
