Likely cancelled after the lack of applications or valid hires. How NijiEN thought they'd obtain six to eight e-sports experienced streamers to play up a vTuber personality, atop of dealing with the manic demands of sisters is beyond me. Genuinely one of the most retarded application forms and I'd be impressed if I am proven wrong.

Makes me think that someone autistic is apart of the hiring process since it should be easy to read someone's body language in a video interview.

I think that played a factor in Nijisanji’s recent batshit decisions and choice to ACCELERATE even in JP again.
With EN and why the gamer wave has yet to come out, the good reason is that even if they aren’t vtubers, no self respecting content creator would apply to NijiEN. First there’s the game perms issue which is a flaw even in other JP run corpos. The second issue is that they have no audience that wants their content, males viewers checked out of NijiEN ages ago and female viewers don’t want to watch a guy play vidya, they just want him to pretend to be their bf. The final kicker is having no control of their brand and having to share it with a company that owns the right to their character, if they leave then they go back to being nothing. It was a doomed idea.
