I'm happy that Idol Showdown got massive traction. Fan games should be appreciated, wish the same will happen to other games as well.
Mori also promised a second holo fangame stream but I don't think that's immediate.

I think there would be interest even if the genre was dead. There are probably plenty of vtuber fans open to playing one even if they've never tried one so genre potentially being dead doesn't seem too relevant to me.
