Yes which is why they need to stop breaking kayfabe all the time. We know it's fake, they know it's fake, the service is the fantasy of whatever your character's gimmick is for a few hours a few times a week.
It gets so tiring and annoying when they constantly demand we treat them like entertainers, then start trying to "get real" with us for doing exactly that.
