Brand name is kind of cringe because some people won't understand it's meant to be ironic weebism even if the streams themselves are unironic weebism. Granted, it's good for filter out shitters. But it doesn't play well with mainstream audiences.

That's not to say the streams should change to be more mainstream. Fuck public morals and global standards. All I'm talking about is marketing. A brand change to something normalfags can talk about in public would be ideal. If the goal is to become a household name in the weeb streamer sphere, the brand should be accessible to weebs both ironic and unironic.

With that said, I think myholotv, tsunderia, niji en, prism project, and even kawaii are on the right track for mass appeal following Hololive's self inflicted crucifixion of their western appeal. Vshoujo will always be a controversial brand due to their more in your face personalities, but even they'll continue having a niche. Feels good to watch the western scene blossoming into a formidable counterpart to the eastern ecosystem. I hope they're all gonna make it.
