-Cloutchaser etoths getting a vtuber model, jumping into the trend. Panders but doesn't care about the medium otherwise.
-Gamers who might as well use a model for privacy and appeal.

I wouldn't say I anti her, but Ina was my absolute favorite in 2021. 2022 and everything she did during that year was a complete letdown. From completely fixable tech issues she chose to ignore to choosing to let her health issues snowball when she was aware she needed to make a lifestyle changes as early as summer 2021. Then to top it off her radio silence was followed by "lmao forgot my phone" which completely took me out of the trance and I haven't watched a stream with her in it since. I am essentially done with Hololive EN and I found others to watch. Maybe one day I'll go back to watching her, but I found someone in her timeslot that actually gives a fuck and offers a decent amount of
transparency.

The general stagnation and in some cases outright apathy of a good portion HoloEN members in 2022 to now has killed the magic for me, which is a shame. I don't hate any of them, but if they don't give a fuck then why should I waste my time on them? If they turn it around, I would return, but until then I can't be bothered to watch 90 percent of them

I always thought Gura wanted a streamer-chat relationship and not a parasocial one. That's why she never really did GFE or treated large donors drastically different. If you enjoy her content, then watch it when you can. I believe she even said something along the lines near her debut that she wanted people to watch her content because it's good and not because its hers. I remember that sentiment because I respect it. That's why I still watch her because her quality has been consistent. There is truth to it. You pulled one week from 2020 back a couple months after debut. There's a lot of streams with hype and schedule posts which is expected. There's some miscellaneous posts here and there.
Then, there's the 2022 week where she doesn't stream as often because her unannounced hiatus. Makes sense there's no schedule and minimal stream posts. Gura still does some miscellaneous posts here and there promoting collabs and announce her return.

Its easy to spot the difference but to actually understand the difference may be too big brain for you. Her posts are correlated to her frequency of streams. So obviously, less streams = less posts. I believe you're claiming a different causation (Gura changed) for the change in results (less posts) that you see when the original argument (Gura streams less) was the causation.

This is me. I realised how cynical she was during that whole UwU speak phase when Tempus first debuted. It was the first and last time she updated us that regularly. There was also a weird, brief pivot into GFE at that point. Her constant promises of working on amazing projects behind the scenes while never actually delivering them filtered me, whereas most fans would prefer more streams. I too had high hopes for her music. Freakin' Bae has an EP out this year - Gura's still coasting on Reflect.

But I don't anti her. Life's too short for that. I've moved on to vtubers that actually care about their fans and put effort in.

If you looked at 2021 you'd notice it's not much different from 2020. She wasn't in hiatus yet in November, she announced it after people started complaining about her ghosting of the thanksgiving week. She disappeared with a shitty excuse of tech issues, she even faked the faulty mic so she had an excuse to avoid doing karaoke (she used a sound filter, it was pretty fucking obvious to anyone who used a mic in their life). In the weeks of thanks giving not only she visited family and had a good time watching documentaries and eating turkey (never finding 30 seconds to make a tweet to reassure us she wasn't dead), she also participated to Mori's 2D concert in Asia as a guest where she had no tech issues at all (naturally she never tweeted about it because she didn't want us there).
Gura has clearly lost any motivation she has to be a vtuber and most of her tweets are indeed about return streams, because sh'es always returning from some unannounced break, or merch bull shit and sometimes collabs if even. She didn't tweet about Koyo's collab, just to mention one, and looks like she won't tweet about the TTRPG either. The thing that disappoints me the most is that she literally took EVERY holiday off, even the recent Easter. She either did so with an unannounced break or with a shitty excuse, if she had the strength to go Japan for the fes she could've easily done a 1h30m Christmas stream and a New Year's Eve stream if she cared. Holidays are important to her fans because, even though most of the people who use /vt/ pretend to forget or not know, the average vtuber fan is a misfit with few to zero friends, and sometimes not even a family, to wish them happy holidays and remind them that their life is not pointless. This is something that any idol would care about, if she cared about her fans.

It's a phenomenon that happens on social networks where your identitiy is subject to mass outrage if you don't fit properly, if you go schizo on a discord hugbox you get banned.
