I fucking swear that Chumbuds are one of the worst fanbases within the Hololive ecosystem.
They are rabid fans who antagonized literally every other Holo fanbase at the outset by spamming her numbers on other Holo chats, spamming "Gura started" on Watson and other EN streams, treated Amelia as "Gura's friend" (causing the breakup of one of the only good ships in HoloEN).
It went so far that Fubuki had to put up a statement saying something along the lines of "it's sad to compare" in one of her streams when chumbuds were shitting on her for getting overtaken by Gura in subs.

They only watch Gura, never watch any of her friends, never participate in the greater Hololive ecosystem, call "holo unity" as reddit faggotry and - worst of all - are fucking proud of this fact.
The Hololive ecosystem is designed around the "Box", where fans can watch other holo members and their oshi's friends if shes's on a break for one reason or another, and can watch her with a fresh mind when she comes back and starts streaming again.
Thanks to their retarded isolationist policies, chumbuds can't into this system. Hence when Gura doesn't stream, the only thing they can do is seethe about the shitposts and wait for her. They're too proud to watch any other EN - or hell, literally do anything else.

Naturally, they gathered the enmity of many a schizo who spend all day shitting on their thread and in the catalog in order to mindbreak them.
All of their retarded shitposting has come to bite them in the ass now, and they are mentally fragile kids who naturally can't take it and lash out at the first target presented to them - Gura herself.
Is it any wonder that Gura herself hates her fanbase, and wants to filter it down to a small comfy size of people who are simply happy to watch her when she has some free time to stream? I hope with these recent "breaks" these fucks finally get the message and leave, but considering their mental illness, it's more likely that they will join Gura schizos to spam the catalog and /ggg/, talking about how they're a "ex-chumbuds" and what not, and continue seething about her 24x7 along with other like minded retards.
