The issue is that Nene changed enough of the traced art that she didn't really steal it. I mean it wasn't ethical (which I highly doubt Nene even understands) but Cover made the right decision taking it down and apologizing because they desperately rely on a lot of good faith from artist.

Luckily for Nene she is a bit of a bimbo so everyone just chalked it up to her being too dumb to understand she did something wrong.

No one ever gets this right. She followed them on a different account but since both accounts had art posted it was easy to identify her. This was also old Twitter that suggested rm accounts all the time.
