The only thing to find out is whether the recent announcement was when they finally started looking, or if it was actually for EN4 and EN3 is already being trained for the past 6 months for release within a month or two (heavy copium here, but possible all the same).

What EN3 will be... is a Pivot, in terms of what HoloEN will be.
There's a fine line to balance here, but as long as there's at LEAST one or two talents that are at least REASONABLY good enough and do things that the general audience likes (more focus on CGDCT, more streams outside of overlap hours, more EU streams, less homo collabs etc.) then they will sustain and keep the Hope going for the existing fans.
This will not save the entire branch, but it will keep it alive at least.

Naturally if they are a miraculous gen of 90% talented chuubas like Sankisei or ID3, then HoloEN as a whole will be revived and start breaking their old records again.
