I remember back when some of the most popular Twitch streamer's content was essentially thanking subs/donos for the entire stream. They basically didn't have time to do anything else, yet kids love having their names read on stream, so the train would keep rolling. That style of steaming seems to have fallen by the wayside, probably because it was just incredibly boring/annoying for the streamer, despite making bank.
