What others have been saying but to add a bit more context, the biggest reason they didn't sell as well is that Kronii didn't have a portion of the sets handsigned and sold as limited editions. That alone would have generated a bit more sales since those always sell out due to exclusivity however there is a variable to consider: Would those purchases of limited sets merely been those who purchased merch otherwise and all we would have seen is the LE sell out and other sales drop off to balance things out? I'm sure there were at least some who were LE or bust buyers so she would have definitely made a bit more change if she had done like everyone else.
HOWEVER...HOWEVER, the difference that would have made is a mere drop in the bucket in the gulf between sales for her merch and the other recent EN merch sales. At the end of the day, whatever variable slider you want to use to show how much Kronii would have benefited from signing and including LE sets, she still would have made only a fraction of the sales of her peers (Anywhere from 25% to ??%, being generous let's say there is a real boon from the included LE sets that boosts her up to 55%). Regardless, its an echoing chasm no matter how you wanna slice it hence the sales extension and all the sudden shilling by Kronii which is completely out of character for her.

A couple of things went against Kronii's merch, the biggest is she didn't have a limited edition version like the other council members, and the items themselves are to put it nicely, Nijisanji Tier shit. An acylric clock and box to hold a sandwhich, which is meme Kronii has been trying to stamp out for months.

The only thing of some value was the neck pillow, and because of Cover fuck up, the shipping for that is 5 times the cost of the item itself.
This is a case of Cover managing to kneecap Kronii again.

As for the clipfag's bullshit. Kronii is behind on her projects because she got TMJ surgery (pic related) where she couldn't fully speak for weeks, so she fell behind in her projects and her sleep schedule never fully recovered from going to Japan yet. So work piled up and the manager is there to actually help.

Kronii's merch shipping costs 2x what you'd pay for other Council members like Fauna. We're talking like 140$ (+import tax) for many fans outside Japan instead of paying 70$, so we can only assume that most people who are not hard core fans simply said fuck it and didn't buy it. Cover went with the retarded option of just letting DHL figure shipping for each individual order instead of negotiating for large bulk shipping discounts because, you know, they're shipping a lot of things instead of a single package. It's why if you order stuff from the Hololive Shop it's sometimes it's actually CHEAPER to split it up into multiple orders.

Say I want Item A, B, and C. A is a large item, B is a medium item, and C is a small item. If I put them all into one order it has to fit into a long, large box. Shipping is high because the box is both long and large. However if i split up the order into B and C in one order and A in another, they ship in two smaller boxes that aren't long. So shipping is much cheaper.
