I understand that Cover needs money and all that but why would they make the girls spend so much time busy with meetings, practices, rehearsals, recordings, etc.? effectively making them more tired both physically and mentally which means less streams or streams without passion, streaming silly games for fun is EXACTLY why they have fans in the first place, ok fine seeing them in concerts or covers or some shit is great and all but that's just a one off thing at the cost of hours and hours they could stream while not being mentally drained, all of them streamed a whole lot more at the beginning and it showed they enjoyed it, now as time went by and they got more popular is just "Oh sorry, i'll be busy recording something so no stream, oh no i did so much yesterday i feel tired so no stream" more and more

It's the same reason so many companies tried to start up their own Vtuber and failed or got outed as a Black Company. They don't care about the talents. They just push for shit until the girl says something online or just quits. I've been saying this for a while now. But I think Ame's burnout/phases/energy (whatever you or she decides to call it) has a lot to do with her responsibilities outside of Hololive. She has 2 cats to take care of, 2 dogs, plants to look after, high maintenance aquariums and aquatic animals to care for. All that shit, daily, would drive me mad. And while constantly recording Hololive stuff isn't necessarily difficult work, it can still become monotonous like a regular wagie job. And she's said a few times that she spends hours upon hours recording the same thing.

She'd probably be better off if she just had like 2 pets and nothing else.

Maybe it's just the fact of who else I'm membered to. I think maybe she's getting a bit better now, but she's also gone weeks without posts before, and I failed to put into context my biggest gripe with her communication, I was thinking about lots of things while writing that pls understand. For me her biggest failure in her communication specifically with members is when she cancels or reschedules streams.

She always waits until last minute even when we see her being active on Twitter or even the member post. She admits herself how indecisive she is and it shows in the way she cancels streams. I think I'd be less disappointed if an 8 pm stream got canceled at 10 am or 1 pm than 7 pm, worse 7:40 pm.

I agree with most of your points. I really dislike the "you feel bad because of your work?? break. unmotivated? break. Low energy one day? more break" attitude of most people that leave comments that she probably reads. If there's something that I've learn is that the constant breaks aren't helping Ame a single bit, literally 0, is just making her worst in every aspect of her life.

Breaks aren't the solution of everything, breaks are meant to be like a "reward" for your brain that rewards you for something big or after months of work that you've done. Like in school, the vacations comes after months and months of constant study and the "final reward" is pass the final exams (or at least end the school/college cycle). Examples of other holos, like Fauna after her birthday she went on break, the others the same, after a song, birthday, event, anniversary they go on break, and Ame used to go on breaks after her VR events, but now is "I spent 15 hours watching tv/playing a farm game and I finished my 3 hours holo work, I don't have time to stream, and the next day I will take a break to do absolutely nothing new from the day before, and the next day the same". She's killing her motivation by herself, she's making everyday look like a day when she's on break and then she gets sad that she's not doing something useful, and then repeat. Imagine if a psychologist were to prescribe a person with anxiety or depression to take a break, you are literally killing him, everyone needs something to work on or activities to do to feel that you are "being useful". The potato mode helps when you actually achieved something, not for your daily life. The same goes to you anon, if you're /here/ you are also probably a sperg of the society or at least pretend not to be, learn shit from your home like japanese or things on your PC because I know you don't wanna get off your home, but do things that don't make you feel like you've wasted a day.
