Lord of the Board is a /vt/-wide wrestling tournament. Threads will submit a wrestler to represent them. The winner will get the belt in the OP and bragging rights until the next Lord of the Board.

You do not need 2k22 to enter the tournament. There will be kind anons that will help you build your thread's wrestler as best as we can.

Just make a Female representative using a male body. 2k22 hates women. We work with what we can.

If you are capable of making your own CAW in a legal version of 2k22 and uploading it to 2k's creation catalog, you may submit representatives for up to 2 threads of your choice. If you need somebody else's help to make a wrestler, you can only submit a representative for one thread. If you are making a different thread's representative following their instructions, it doesn't count against your two allowed threads.

Not really. You can skip any section of the moveset/stat autism that you don't understand.

You cannot. While it is okay to take cues from existing versions, the thread must provide their own unique take on the chuuba if they want to submit a vtuber as their representative. At bare minimum, it must be a new visual design, such as wearing a different outfit than one they've previously appeared in.

Fill out the form. Irregular/dead threads will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis.

TBD, likely sometime in May/June, depending on how many entrants we get. You will get a minimum of 2 weeks between submissions closing and the stream, and the announcement will come at least 2 weeks before the stream takes place.

Possibly, but not likely.

Not this time. We're trying to see how much of this can be organized anonymously.

I am already in most places on the board regularly to begin with, and I've been keeping close tabs on threads likely to submit anything. I haven't been bringing up threads by name because I don't want them to get harassed and ultimately alienated, but I am at this point looking at a card potentially 25 threads large. I threw out /pw/ because it failed verification. It obviously being a blue jobber sockpuppet is another matter entirely, but I was already going to throw it out before I noticed that.
The /jp/ submission was good and I was legitimately hyped for it, but ultimately there were a few reasons I found to exclude it beyond the potential sockpuppet nature of the submission.

But that's beyond the point, really. /Ybc/ getting in VTL1, much like /become/ and /towa/, was desperation from the organizers because they only had 9 real teams a couple of weeks before the tournament started. This is considered an extremely dangerous move, as the opponent's body cannot roll with the natural momentum of the move to absorb the impact.

This move is synonymous with the great Kenta Kobashi, 4 times World Champion and the one who holds the GHC Heavyweight Champion for a staggering 735 days. The reason why this move is being held in such regard is not just because of the extreme risk of injury the taker would suffer if it goes slightly wrong but also because in Kobashi’s 25-year-long career, he has used The Burning Hammer for a total of only 7 times. 4 of those are to my childhood hero, Mitsuhara Misawa, the only man crazy enough to take the move more than once. The move was first popularized by a wrestler named Jushin Liger back in the '90s, but it's been used by loads of wrestlers since then. One of the main merits of the Red Elite Bomb is its high visual impact. The move's spinning motion adds an extra level of excitement to the typical powerbomb slam, making it an instant crowd pop. When executed correctly, it looks absolutely devastating, which can really sell the impact of a match.

Lastly, the Red Elite Bomb is a great move for creating drama in a match. Some finishers are considered to be "protected", and while that is a valid form of entertainment, I personally feel that there is also value in a finisher that doesn't feel repetitive even if it's not a protected finisher. Whenever Mikoler brings out the Red Elite Bomb, you can feel that the match might be over, but you can also believe that there's still a chance the match can still go on. The build-up to the move creates a sense of suspense and anticipation, making it a perfect move to use in a match's climactic moments. Wrestlers can use it as a finishing move to secure a victory or as a near-fall, where they almost get the win, but their opponent manages to kick out at the last moment. This keeps the audience on the edge of their seats, wondering what will happen next.

In conclusion, these are my favorite moves simply for the fact that they are conducive to good storytelling especially in the format of HoloFightZ. While I appreciate devastating "IT'S OVER" signature and finisher combo, I would go so far as to say that finishers and signatures that can be performed a hundred times in the ring while maintaining the drama and storytelling matters more.

I've always been a fan of finishers with a lot of "explosiveness" like Spears or Stunner variants, or a more recent common finisher, the Buckshot Lariat. I also quite like specticle versions of plain moves like Hogan's Leg Drop, The People's Elbow, The Five Knuckle Shuffle, and The Worm. Akiyama, nicknamed The Blue Thunder because of his iconic Blue And White Boots and Trunks, have used this move to great effect in his match against other great Japanese wrestlers like the aforementioned Kenta Kobashi, Yuji Nagata, and Hiroshi ‘’The Ace’’ Tanahashi. Also, this move is known the most in the West by the WWE wrestler Sami Zayn, who has frequently used this move as a Signature Move and something to prep him for his Finisher, Sami Zayn as everyone here knows, is Mori ‘’The Lock’’ Calliope past rival in the hit WWE Documentary ‘’The Lock’’, streaming for free right now on HoloFightZ.twitch.tv.

Each thread puts a list of threads they're willing to tag with on their submission form. If there's any overlap, they'll form a tag team.
I'll probably go around asking the managers for each rep if they want to re-negotiate their tag options, but even if I don't there's still a few tag teams set up already.

Move-sets are easily the most tedious part of CAW making. Because you don't wanna be that guy and give yourself a bunch of finishers as standard grapples, yet some of the other choices are so lackluster. "For ground attack, you want the Armbreaker with a 20 second long animation, Eye Rake or Blackout 2" Thanks 2K
