The way I see it Ame has always shilled every batch of holo talents that release for about a month, doing collabs with them. she generally trusts cover to find good people. I'm sure she expected backlash but only from /here/ and not in any serious capacity - I was just as surprised when emotionally unstable fans threw a fit about it and it got big enough to actually impact streams. she didn't handle their comments well either. but it's in the past now

Used to be she was the leader, the creatividad etc as her special ability within Myth but she kinda just stopped giving a shit about all that leaving her as a janky average gamer. I wouldn't say she's terrible or anything, just not as memorable/interesting as she used to be.

Come to think of it several of the Councils are kinda Ame-like - no specific notable abilities, just cute, and they kind of diluted down her piece of the pie in EN by being cuter in some ways than her. That + councilrys has been mostly absent regarding homos (not entirely, just mostly) besides Kronii vs Ame's improve yourself. One might have argued that at least to people in-the-know Ame's secret actual appeal was being a huge gosling magnet and her going for the Stars did a number on that.
