Ina is seen as an artist, and artists aren't given crap for not streaming because they aren't expected to. Gura, on the other hand, mostly streams, and so everyone sees her as mainly a streamer. Unless she can change her image by making a lot of other stuff besides streams like songs or videos, Gura will seem like she isn't doing her one and only job.

Gura is THE biggest Vtuber out there, Ina is just kind of existing. She's never been a huge draw, she's just a comforting person that was there to toss on in the background.

That said, she does a bit better on the communication front that Gura (it's not great, but it'd definitely better) and she explains the reasons for her absences. Gura just ghosts people, then comes back like it's no big deal with zero communication.

However since Ina's been back she's streamed 29 times the past 3 months. That's not a lot - but, it's still a lot more than Gura. Gura streamed 7 times the past 3 months - 4 of those were only within the last 2 weeks. If she didn't get a hankering to actually try doing something in Minecraf she would have been on ~1 stream a month vs Ina being ~10.

Gura streams less than Ayame some months. Ayame. With no real declaration of why or how etc. Instead of saying "yeah I'll be gone for a while" Gura is like "see you next week!" (no delivery) (month+ passes) (one singular comeback stream and repeat). People had been calm and patient about it but finally got fed up with it hence the blowup in her prechat, lots of memebers venting frustration etc. She fucking engineered that outcome by her never fucking talking and pretending everything's fine and about to go back to normal. the problem I have with that argument is the myth members didn't expect to be as big as it is. At least I know from what ina has said, they expected to be a small off-branch like the Indonesian one was. When the myth members were watching hololive, it was still a smaller company than nijisanji, slowly growing. When they applied, it was about equal with niji. Only to start really popping off during their training and exploding when they came out.
So sure you can say "oh they're not behaving as members of the biggest company should", but from their point of view what they were signing on was being in an off-branch of a notable vtuber company that was still known as the "failed vtuber second chance" company and not the "top talent" company.

In all honestly, it was a waste to give a Myth slot to someone who was already extremely wealthy even without Myth, someone who genuinely didn't need the job at all. But I imagine they were unsure at the time if EN would work out so they made sure to select at least one person with a good reputation.
