If someone is your oshi, you'll want them to succeed. Part of success is taking honest constructive criticism to heart.
Let me tell you what happens to people who feel like they can't voice their opinions to their oshi: they leave without a word and try to find someone else to watch.
If you don't want your oshi to lose fans like this, you'll recognise that a two way dialogue between the Vtuber and the fans is the only way forward. If you lose any and all expectations of them, can you really say that you're supporting them? If you simply want to watch something where your criticism or opinions are a non-factor, then why would you not watch either pre-recorded content or anime instead of a livestream?
