I'm gonna be honest, I've been thinking about this ever since I saw another Vtuber yesterday say how relatable Ai was, and after seeing more vtubers, both Niji and from other companies, praise the series with some repeating the feeling of being identified with it, I've reached two reasons as of why. Sorry for the rant but I need to get this out of my head, this is also based more on the manga which I read a couple of years ago and some clips of the anime, so If anyone who actually saw it has a correction, it would be appreciated.

The first reason would be the whole Idol background. Nijisanji is a japanese company, and Vtubing in the japanese side has always been influenced in some way or another by the idol culture, as evidence you have words from idol origin beeing used as Vtuber terms: for example graduation, or the lightsticks of Idol concerts being used as stickers or background in karaoke streams. So even if Idol entertainment and Vtubing (especially EN Nijisanji) are pretty different, there are some similarities from which a Vtuber could say "Oh she's just like me fr fr"

The second reason is more of a personal opinion, but I believe that while the talents themselves are not actively telling lies all the time, I do believe their natural personalities are exaggerated when streaming, which could be interpreted as a way of lying. For example you have the personalities or characteristics with which they start at debut being abandoned further down the road when shown it's not producing results or being too difficult to mantain and showing a version more in line of how they really are, or stories from Talents acting one way in private and those stories clashing with the personality they show on camera. They may not go lying at the level of Ai, but the fact that they are Vtubing, which already implies playing a "character" somewhat could be understood as lying, which would make the character of Ai more relatable.

Damn, I knew she was overworking herself with volunteering, streaming and offline work, but it still hurts to see that not only her symptoms worsened but that she's been crying about it. When you are doing lots of things at the same time and run yourself ragged trying to keep everything going it's hard not to blame yourself when you collapse. Im late but yeah if you guys are comfortable talking about it further, I'm glad she's doing less volunteer work, truth be told she's missed several VP deadlines, she hasn't been fully healthy in months and constantly hearing about how she was volunteering yet again really broke my heart because I hated hearing about it. She was constantly coughing her lungs out and getting sick while bragging about spending 10 hours cleaning up her volunteer place. I get that she just wants someone to need her irl and probably feels bad that she can't send 3-4k a month to charities anymore but on the same page I hated watching her kill herself. I've talked about it before in main but Millie's honest problem is she needs someone or something in her life that appreciates her presence. If she had a dog I unironically think a lot of her desire to do charity work would disappear. Apparently the newer iPhones due to having larger sensors have a larger minimum focus distances. So the camera is probably refusing to focus on the flowers and instead focuses on the leaves which are further. Similar shit happens with my parents new iPhone.
