Okay, does anyone else get driven crazy by how Twitch VODs get deleted after a while? I avoid Twitch VTubers and stick to YouTube for this reason but there's some Twitch VTubers I really want to get into and it's going to drive me crazy if I can't go back and watch their old streams. Do their fans save them somewhere or what?

Your first mistake is using twitch.
Your second mistake is watching twitch vtubers. They all suck.

Follower twitch vtubers that actually save their VODs on youtube.

Twitch streamers can actually highlight their VODs to save them forever

VODs being deleted after awhile is my main issue with Twitch, not to mention how bad is the GUI for checking out older VODs are.

if they are not retarded they have an archive channel. for some reason twitch normies almost never watch vods, and as a result they dont put much effort into advertising their archive channel. they should have them somewhere

I'll be honest, the real reason I created this thread is because I just found out about Hecatia and I want to watch her archived Twitch streams from before two months ago, but she's so obscure that I can't figure out if they've been lost forever or if they're hidden away somewhere I can't find.

Do you seriously believe that I would have found Hecatia if I didn't know who she is? I'm just late to the party and I want to watch any of the Hecatia streams I missed.

I'll admit that "oscure" threw me off and made me assume you were some sort of ultra newfag, sorry for that anon.

And to anwser your question if a VOD is gone from twitch, its gone forever unless someone else archived it.

>> No.4721911

It's dumb, but streamers can retain VODs if they save the entire thing as a highlight. That being said, with Twitch's dogshit non-existent DMCA system most creators are safer turning off VOD/Clips so they don't get taken out when the music industry eventually swings it's giant dick at Twitch.

Which is why I'm asking if there's some secret society of Hecatia fans that archives it on some Discord server somewhere or something because I feel like that's my only hope.

This annoys me with Natsumi Moe.
I wanted to watch her Code Vein playthrough but I missed it completely.
It's just another thing Twitch does to incentivise membership and subscriptions.

Funding Susan is bad enough, I think I'd rather give up vtubers entirely then send a single sent to the seething mass of cancer that is Twitch.
