What is Izuchama's goal these days? I know that he's neck deep in Valo brainrot, but you can say the same with Temma's Marika brainrot. Except from what I can tell, Temma has a concrete daily/monthly goal per stream, and with just that it becomes something very fun to watch. In contrast, Izuchama just insists on grinding rank solo, and sure sometimes he gets a good team, but then it's just immediately offset by a bad team, and the whole stream just turns into a zero sum experience repeated ad nauseam.

Nta and I usually stay away from his Valo streams but in one he said at the beginning he wants to reach a certain rank, I forgot if Ascendant or Radiant, within this year and he wants to do a watchalong of a Valo tourney, probably an official one where he gets hired to do one. He sounded serious about it but it also sounds like excuses to play more to me since he doesn't really do anything to improve his own play i.e. hire a coach. As of now he is using his postponed pile of work as excuse to stop putting effort into his solo content and to play Valo as a low-calorie stream that doesn't tire him out before meetings and recordings. He has asked his fans that still watch his Valo streams to please let him do what he enjoys to do so he is likely aware that most don't care about it. He expects to gain more viewers that understand Valo when he improves because he knows that his current fans don't understand Valo because they are not playing though he also makes no effort to explain anything. Would Hal even host a non-battle royale Vsai? As much as I abhor the genre it's probably the easiest one to organize tournaments for since everyone competing plays on the same match and they're generally shorter than your standard Valorant/CS match, not to mention these games are generally played on a First to 2/3 configuration which makes a set possibly half as long as an entire Apex tournament. The tournament would have to be single elim due to schedule concerns and it might still take almost a whole day to complete. Even an OW2 tournament would be much longer than Apex, so it feels Vsai begins and ends with that shitty game.

That'd mean all 60 players have to clear their schedule for the entire week which is virtually impossible. Teams don't have to participate if they can't or don't want to practice. It's ultimately optional and an opportunity for them to improve in the correct environment since it's elsewise impossible to recreate the circumstances of the actual tourney. If the practice scrims would impact the main event results I think some teams would already have mentally broken down by now since it would be pure stress on the players for an entire week. Though I do agree that it should count to something like a little prize for the 1st placed team of each day at least.
