It forces mori to leave Hololive. Antis and competing company fans will ragdoll on that event and will cause a series of bad publicity for Cover saying that they restrict their talent's freedom. Clippers and translators will just switch over to other vtubing companies and Holo will fade into obscurity, despite the millions of followers they will only garner a few hundred viewers on stream.

This collab is definitely the beginning of something, it will start with Mori and then move onto someone like Ina, then Gura, and then in the end, all of holoEN will be no better than the other shitty western vtubers. Male eceleb collabs on the regular, politics, cussing and getting wasted on stream, boyfriends and sex, twitch tier memes, sponsors with whatever the zoomer audience loves, it will keep going downhill. The holoEN you know and love today will definitely be a lot different about 2 years from now, assuming this Mori "drama" is a prelude of things to come.

If a content creator collabing with another content creator affects your mental state, I would highly recommend seeking professional help, as this tells that your priorities in life may absolutely be in a very dangerous position. Ina already did her designated non-vtuber collab and it doesn't really matter who she collabs with, because Ina will look good and the person she is collabing with will too. Ina is a very, very skilled entertainer, much moreso than people give her credit for. She's incredibly good at making other people shine when they talk to her.
I mean, she managed to make Mori look fun and interesting.

Ina is the only HoloEN who is very very unlikely to do something wrong, because unlike the others she's purely in it for fun, social contact and because she REALLY loves Hololive. Her roommate makes good money as an artist already. Hololive IS a side gig for her.
