How much do corporate vtubers actually make? I know big twitch streamers make disgusting amounts of money. This is a topic that makes me uneasy because some mentally ill niggas throw hundreds and thousands of dollars at these people and they just...accept it? Is there not a way to put a cap on how much an individual member can donate? I feel as if this is a moral responsibility when someone in your community is clearly ruining their life sending you ridiculous amounts of money.

I've even seen normies insult these guys that have this problem and take the talent's side like "Oh look at these creepy guys that these girls have to deal with!". It's evil. If someone gave me a thousand dollars for making fart jokes while playing Minecraft I would feel like I was doing something morally wrong by accepting the money, especially if they made a habit out of it. Which is why I wonder how much of a cut the talent gets from superchats and whatnot.

'Thousands of dollars' is relative. If you are Elon Musk or some rich oil prince in the Middle East, a couple thousand is chump change. On the other hand, if you are a normal dude living in a low income nation, even $10 might be the difference between paying your rent or not.
