This is the truth. Gura's design is by far one of the best if not the best design. The art quality is meh, the rigging is mediocre, but thr design is perfect. Instantly recognizable as a shark, easy to market, clear and simple, sharks area very recognizeable animal that even kids know and love without being cliche like dogs or cats. Nachoneko deserves a medal for her work.

A good Live2D design has to be appealing to the target audience with enough details to make it unique. The model has to be compatible with the personality of the streamer whether that means cute or sexy since a mismatch will generally cause issues in the long term. A vtuber that hates their own model will eventually hate their job which seems to be a major problem in hololive.
