Holo/Niji is pretty tough to get into. A lot of applicants are also people who have streamed or made content for years or were seiyu/idols/utaite. (Usually be people who were in this weird spectrum were they did well but didn't make the break through). A lot of people have the Illusion that they debut unknown talents but this is sort of false. It's low risk to hire someone who has already established themselves.

"Indie"/Small corpos are where you probably could have a chance but I don't see much benefit. Unless you think it would be fun.

VShojo is pretty impossible for newcomers. They make their money through merch, so they have to limit themselves to established VTubers who can move merch to sustain their business. They also don't do as much, so you need your own vision and business infrastructure because It's more a partnership between your business (channel) and VShojo whereas Japanese style angencies is more akin to you getting hired as a contractor doing working for them.

One thing to also consider: Japanese style agencies usually come with a NDA about your identity. So depending on that (and the law of your country) it can practically lead to a blank spot in your resume.

Indie career is probably the way to go. You already worked up to 10k. So that's one hurdle gone. For Indies Twitch has a bit better discoverability chances because it focuses on ongoing streams so you have less competition at a given time whereas on youtube you also compete against VODs as well as live streams.

But in general it's difficult. The holo/niji model games the algorithm hard and most algorithms are positive feed back controlled having a rich get richer behavior so it generally leads to centralization of the market rather than diversification. So it's pretty though because the market is pretty centralized.

A bit negative but keep your expectations realistic. Simply have fun with it and do VTubing for the sake of VTubing, not to join an agency.
