Just when you think you've striken gold, all the problems that comes with it hits you. Higher tax brackets, higher salary demands, higher fan expectations etc. The startup has decided not to involve lawyers, instead they give in and let a femoid have her way with ever increasing demands until it became unsustainable. They've supported all of them from the ground up when they were 0view nobodies more than anybody possibly could, physically, morally and financially sacrificing self interest and longevity by not cutting into profits. When the goings get good however, the talent is unwilling to reciprocate so there you have it. The fall of GCQ.
Honestly they should have thought this woman a lesson that they can't have both the cake and eat it too. You let hear break the boundary once, she will eat you whole with no limit because she knows she can get away with it because the small startup has no balls to say no I won't be terrorized.

There was but only one way since the start for a company to keep a vtuber and that was by growing together like Hololive without becoming a parasite on the other.

In the age of automation and AI a company and management have no value, and one person can run an entire business.
If your business doesn't have anything valuable to offer then graduating is a valid course of action.

As for Kakeru there are 2 possibilities.
She may have found a better company which could support her properly, or she decided to go a different way.
In the first case it has nothing to do with Tama, and that would be a good decision on her part to focus on her own future.
In the second case, it's a good idea for her to try a different route, because vtuber is not necessarily a very rosy industry and activity and requires a high amount of effort and dedication with many sacrifices.
Many of the girls in GuidCQ didn't necessarily have an idea of what this activity would mean, and Kakeru may have been in this group too.
She started focusing on singing streams because it was more popular, but it wasn't an initial conscious choice like Tama to aim to become a vsinger from the start.
It would be good for her to take time and think about what she wants to do in her life and what she is aiming for.

I can't really approve of this behavior.

If she came from 4chan she would know that this place was once full of despair and that words have meaning.
It is a NPC behavior to copy something they see without thinking, and she had to reproduce it into reality to understand the meaning of these words.

This soulless behavior can be attributed to the smartphone generation who replaced social interactions with software controlled happiness boosts from likes.
A strong disconnection from reality is created, and people learn to behave this way as their main behavior.

I used to be really into Cluster 3-4 years ago, but became more focused on youtube while Cluster was having a winter without big events because of Corona.
It's difficult to follow everything now with so many vtubers on youtube, and it takes some time to get used to VR again.

They once had an archive function which allowed us to watch the archive of live events later, but it was a bit buggy and they cancelled it.
I would prefer a buggy archive over no archive, but this may not work well with their high quality culture and low tolerance for criticism.

I don't know about a notification system, but the problem now may be that with the increased number of events it's more difficult to go through them all.
Similar to how there are always streams on youtube and you can only focus on one stream.

That's a shame they scrapped the archive feature, I'm surprised they even attempted it. I need to try Cluster VR at some point. I had too many annoying issues with my VR headset not detecting the USB ports whenever I attempted to use it I stopped bothering with it.

I still have issues with USB ports, but you can solve them by adding an external usb pci card which has good reviews for compatibility.
For some reason many mainboards have bad usb compatibility with high end hardware...

The Oculus Quest 2 with a LINK cable is a great improvement.
You only need one USB cable connected to the computer, and it even supports Cluster as a standalone app on the headset alone without the PC support.

You can also try out Cluster as a simple 2D PC app on your computer without VR, which is a good workaround for when things break or you want to multi task.
