Perhaps the number one thing that has stopped me from being a VTuber is that from time to time I have to take a shit that lasts something like 20 minutes and I feel like walking away from my computer for 20 minutes would be devastating as a streamer. What I find weird and want to ask about is, how come I've never seen that happen with any VTubers? I've watched a lot of them, and any time they need to go to the bathroom, it's like 5 minutes at MOST, usually less. How is there no VTuber that has had a really dire bowel movement that required an extended period away, do they all play it safe and just end stream if they know it's going to be bad? Or else I'm confident I would have heard of it by now.

I admittedly am OCD when it comes to washing my hands.

I have a very good sense of smell, and I always sniff my hands after washing them when I'm done using the restroom. If I smell ANY gross smell at all on my hands at that point, I got back and wash them AGAIN, and repeat until there is no smell and they are perfectly clean. I also use dish soap most of the time.

One day I will get a bidet so I never have to come into direct or indirect contact with bad smelling substances again.

I definitely encourage the bidet, I've had so many problems where I have to wipe for so long I start bleeding, or accidentally get shit on my hands when I'm wiping because it's been a real messy shit. And using the bidet instead has completely removed that problem, it cleans me up so well and I've stopped having the issue with rogue poop getting all over the place. I would have gotten one a long time ago but I didn't realize they had gotten so affordable, I thought they were this luxury product that cost hundreds of dollars but you can get a great one for 30 to 70 dollars depending on what you're looking for.
And to be fair to you I have a similar OCD and have washed my hands extra in the past if I smell a bad smell, and even if they smell completely clean I rub sanitizer on my hands after I've finished washing and drying them with soap. It's just that the 30 second wash is more common for me.

I have never had a fast shit in my life. It's always 30 mins+ and then second poop comes about an hour later.
I notice when I stream and I'm setting everything up (especially if I'm doing something new) my stomach says hello and holds me prisoner for an hour.
It's not exclusive to streaming. If I'm going to play a new game or go somewhere new the intestinal trial begins.
If I just don't eat my body finds something to eject so that doesn't work either.
