The taste its completely different IMO. Japanese rice autism is no exaggeration and a good Zojirushi rice cooker, while expensive, will make the rice taste delicious. Not something you'd buy unless rice is a staple food around your home and you have similar rice autism. I've got a pressure IH one and sometimes I'll catch myself just eating plain rice and it's been a few years since I've gotten this one to replace my older rice cooker.

There weren't many gajins working for Cover in japan besides the ENs that were over there for the fes and anyone involved with Cover surely knows her voice and maybe even the real names of the talents.
