Though for some reason JP proplayers few years ago indeed did played on JP(not that much though, ~200 games per 45 days). Usually Riot are helping with creating account on foreign regions like KR, maybe they played on it offstream, since i really doubt they had any other ability to scrim but with KR academy teams.
