Each Thread will be permitted to submit one representative to establish wrestling dominance over the other threads!
Submissions can be instructions to create a wrestler in 2k22, or an upload to 2k22 with the proper tags.

Representatives must:
>Use a male CAW base. This does not exclude female submissions, but due to how 2k22 does not allow female CAWs to participate in large amounts of match types, CAW submissions with a female base will not be accepted.
>All stats are 20 under their maximum by default. You may increase up to 4 stats of your choice to maximum in exchange for reducing the same number of stats by 20 each.
>Custom personality sliders
>Finishers and Signature moves must be custom-selected in the moveset creator. It is preferable if the entire moveset is customized, but this is not mandatory.
>Payback can be customized. (Resiliency is default)
>Customized name, location of origin, and entrance (No "FROM NEW YORK, THE SUPERSTAR" will be accepted)
>A unique, customized appearance.
>The name of the thread they are meant to represent somewhere in the description, name, or social media handle of the wrestler
The form for submissions will have all of this info to fill in, so don't sweat it too much. Just think about what you want or talk with your thread.

Optional Things that can be included with submissions:
>Entrance music (every entrant will have entrance music, but it will be picked for you if not included; keep in mind that entrance/victory music are the same music. You only get one track.)
>An image of what the wrestler should look like (especially important if instructing somebody else to recreate something you made in a cracked version of 2k22)
>A list of threads (no more than 5) that you would be willing to tag with, listed in order of priority. If you and one of those threads are mutually interested in forming a tag team, If enough teams are formed this way, tag team events will be added to the match card.

>Do I need my thread's permission to submit a wrestler on their behalf?
It is preferred that the thread itself be into the idea of having a representatitve and contribute in some way to its representation, as opposed to just one guy doing everything of their own volition, but at this time we are not requiring you to obtain recorded Proof of Interest like /vt/ League does. We do, however, reserve the right to call you a faggot and reject your submission if it's clear you're trying to be a dickhead or falseflagging.

Female CAWs have incredibly restricted access to moves and match types (for example, they can't be in First Blood or Hell In A Cell matches). They also cannot be in the same match as a CAW with a male base. This doesn't stop anybody from making a "female" representative using a Male CAW base (which is how pretty much every /hfz/ fed does it).

No. You can make a wrestler's appearance in a cracked version of the game, then include those images in your submission. However, cracked versions of the game cannot upload wrestlers themselves. If you intend to make a wrestler to upload, you'll need a legal copy. Please note that as it is not required that you touch the game yourself at any point, cracked versions of the game will not be provided.
>What match types should I plan for?
Match Types will depend on number of entrants and interest. It is adviseable that you plan around the common match types (One Pinfall/Submission; Tables; Battle Royale/Royal Rumble; Elimination Chamber; First Blood; Tag matches if you have that as an interested party). Other match types may be used.
>What format will the tournament be in? 1v1s all the way down?
Depends on the number of entrants. The plan is to use larger group match types to thin down the crowd, then use progressively smaller match groupings until we can go to 1v1s for the rest of the tournament, culminating in one thread winning the Lord of the Board belt. If there are enough entrants, a Royal Rumble will be used to determine seeding, then the event will progress from there.
>Why aren't we using 2k23?
It's too new. 2k22 is significantly more accessible, more people are likely to have it already, and it has all of its DLC (and thus CAW parts) released already. Future potential LotB events will consider changing versions.
>What will /mythread/ win?
The next Lord of the Board belt and/or arena will be themed after the previous winner, and /hfz/ will kneel to your thread. Otherwise it's just bragging rights. This is a shitpost tournament for fun and unity.

Submissions for representatives will open on April 13th @ 12a ET.

As you may have known, miss Oozora Subaru will not be joining her former teammates in /vt/ for the upcoming 2023 Spring Babby Cup Qualifier. After a long talk about the direction /hfz/ is heading in preparation for VTL5, Miss Oozora have decided it would be best that she would hold off on her interthread duty to focus on training for the club. This news may come as a shock to you all but after an admittedly, less than ideals performance in the previous VTL, more preparation for VTL5 is needed for a successful attempt for /hfz/ to return to the glory that she knows we can achieve. Please know that everything Miss Oozora does is for the betterment of /hfz/ as a club, a brand, and a family.

More to add, with what has been said, Miss Subaru will still make regular appearances on HoloFightZ because the brand /hfz/ is wrestling first and foremost, and our goal to give everyone the best storytelling, wrestling and world-building will not change, no matter how expansive our brand may become.

And last but not least, we here at /hfz/, would like to wish everyone at /vt/ a successful campaign. /vt/ has a lot of talented players and I believe they will achieve greatness with, or without us.

I've received a few proto-submissions and questions about submissions. I'd say that so far it's about 50/50 between threads asking about a meme and asking about whether they can get a chuuba in. Although in one case, technically it's both a chuuba and a meta meme.
Don't sweat the small stuff too much. 2k22 is pretty arbitrary about what it will and won't let you do, anyway. We can render intricate designs like Shion or La+ with some autism and elbow grease, but we can't have a proper fucking bedsheet ghost, for example.

I've gotten a couple of messages asking me to clear up how submissions will work, so let me clarify some things here in the open.

On 4/13 @ midnight ET, I will post a google form here that will be taking submissions. This form will include a way to trade contact info, as well as all the options you would reasonably need to make a rough draft of your representative. Currently, the plan is for submissions to close at Midnight ET on the 27th, giving you TWO WEEKS to get a submission in. While submissions are still open, we'll skim over your thread's submission to make sure you're not asking for anything outright impossible or being a faggot or just generally clueless. If you left contact info, we'll get in touch. Currently there's no plan to make a dicksword server or anything like that for this event, as we want the event to be something that you can participate in without that, but if we're keeping the option on the table just in case.

After submissions close, if you made the rep yourself and put it up on 2k22's creation share, then you're pretty much done. We'll grab your entrance music, make sure your shit works, and that you're not being a faggot or something. If you needed somebody to make your rep, we'll follow your instructions provided in the form as closely as possible. If you left contact info, we'll get in touch to ask about any details or issues we have rendering your instructions. If you didn't, we'll either get as close as we can to your instructions (if it's something minor like a design running out of points and not being able to include specific details), or call it out either here or in your thread (if it's something major that would require us to completely change what you submitted in a significant way). There is no concrete timeframe for this period, but it will take at least 2 weeks. This may get extended based on any number of factors such as CAW-maker availability, amount of autism involved, whether Venus is in the 5th House, how much bread has been eaten by Hololive talents this week, ect.

Yes. The reason there's so much time is that we want to make sure everyone gets a chance to participate if they want to, while also ensuring that we have ample buffer time to cover any unforseen bullshittery that will inevitably happen because of this being the first event.
