everyone on aliexpress is on amazon, and amazon is only like 30% more expensive (sometimes the exact same seller is on amazon, with the same shipping time, but if it's not fulfilled by amazon, it's not is worth buying), paying the premium makes it more worth it when the product qualifies for free shipping, and it usually arrives in like 2 days even though it says it takes 2 weeks, and the most important reason, you can return the headphones because it doesn't feel good, or you break it in 30 days (most headphones under $40 feel like shit either due to ear shape, too small or big, or bad material on the cups, or just have shit sound).
amazon is just as scammy as aliexpress, but you just need to put diligence into knowing what you are buying.
But earbuds in aliexpress are so cheap because when items are less than $10, the shipping is more expensive than the item, and amazon is much more expensive because it has the same price on aliexpress's "tracked shipping" (last mile shipping has a tracking number), which can double the price of the item (but all amazon orders are tracked, which explains the higher price).
