Even most very small 1 view males incline if you look at their numbers over long enough terms. Just the act of streaming for long enough slowly gets the vast majority of people viewers. Both twitch and youtube are still growing in absolute terms, and established people will on average grow even if by miniscule amounts.

The main reason people start declining is if they change up their formula massively (by changing the game they play if they are specialized in a certain game) or by their specialized game declining massively.

Still working on getting everything set up for my vtubing career. I just need to do a few small test streams on the weekend, to see how the audio will sound in the apartment. Also, I'm feeling very much anxiety about the first time.
That being said, I'm hoping that I can get the ball rolling. I have been interacting with so many Vtubers this year. How hard is it to make friends with bigger Vtubers, once you become one yourself? I actually know a 30-50 view male vtuber, who got his viewers after becoming friends with a female 200 view.

Im not really convinced running the minimum amount of ads on twitch hurts viewership much/at all. Non-monetized channels are so rare among channels with 10ccv and up that I doubt most of the audience on twitch even realize that a channel not running ads is even possible.
