Someone asked in the last thread for top 10 all-time chatter numbers, so here they are:

The names have been md5 hash'd because I don't really want to start any drama. If you want to check if you're in the top 10, you can go to some website that generates an md5 hash and put in your username and see if it matches a hash in the list. Below website works.

MdnRank is the median rank that the chatter has from all appearances in Fauna's chat. MdeRank is the mode rank, which is the rank that appears the most often for that chatter. MdnMPM is the median of all MPM's a chatter has had within Fauna's chat. MPM being the messages per minute that a chatter sent during a chat.

Now, I knew the top chatter was way ahead of the rest, but this data just proves my point. With a median MPM of 1.87, he stands way above the rest. Like, I knew he was far ahead of everyone else in each chat, but this data just proves my point. Everyone else out there that's in the top 10 has a pretty modest ~1 MPM. He's almost at a 2 MPM at his MEDIAN. So with that being the way it is, it's no wonder that his mode rank is #1 and median rank #3.
It's honestly an impressive stat sheet, but I can't help but laugh when he gets BTFO by randoms like on her birthday for example.

I recently got out of a situation where I was spending way too much on an indie vtuber, so I feel like I can offer some insight and advice that would have helped me.
Don't spend money just to spend money. You are under ZERO obligation to support vtubers monetarily. She is doing this because it works out for her financially, otherwise she would find something else.
On the other hand, if you really like her merch or member benefits and think you'll get some real use out of them, don't be afraid to spend.
Superchats are tricky. I recommend deciding in advance what you are willing to spend. For example, you can say I'm not going to send a superchat more than ten times this year and I'll not spend more than $50 per superchat.
Deciding all this in advance will help you resist the pressure to overspend when others are doing it, and limiting your budget will make each each time feel more memorable to you (which is ultimately what you should want out of a superchat).
What you absolutely DON'T want to do is to treat spending money as a way to show your love or get closer to your oshi. That can be very hard to resist with indies, but even with hololive you don't want to be the guy trying to use superchats to have a conversation with your oshi.
