Sad to see her go, but she's one of many I stopped watching around when Susan took away community contributed subtitles. I know many others have a similar story so it's not surprising to see her fall into irrelevancy, at least in EN spheres. I've been learning JP so that I can actually watch my favorites without needing subs, but it's slow going and she graduated before I could become fluent. So long, Akari. It's sad really, at least three of these gals will have been slain by japanese corporate culture, moneygrubbing and conservativism in how they allow their talents to interact. For extra context when Kson interviewed loutlot (the guy in charge of VShoJP) one of the things discussed was when there will be new additions and he was vague but basically said something along the lines of there being enough new additions to be a proper sized group and "soon" That's lead people to believe there'll be 3 new people since 5 is typical "generation" size for a company starting out, but at least 2 is guaranteed since he said more than 1.
Cut to Pikamee, who's outgrown her company and wants to do things that she can't achieve at VOMS due to how small scale it is suddenly announcing a graduation. Note that she's very close friends with Kson and even Kson pointed out that Pikamee said see you later during her graduation on Twitter.
Also cut to Mirai Akari, who's long since had problems with the corporate structure at Bamco suddenly announcing a graduation. Also note that she's close with Kson and has been doing flesh streams with her recently and talked about how Kson's helped change her outlook on her career path.
Compare to VShojo's original formation. Wanting a group that gets along with each other and has natural chemistry, Gunrun tasked Melody with collecting the other 7 members the group started with. Replace Mel with Kson and you have what is possibly happening here.

Yes. Gun's a tech guy first and foremost and he was very interested in Mel from a tech perspective like 2 weeks after her Twitch debut and offered his help. They got to talking and the discussions of forming a group started and Mel recruited Nyan, Froot, Mouse, Silver, Zen, and Hime. Everyone after was handled differently and Mel doesn't have any special place in the company beyond being the initial scout.
