I don’t see the point of watching very big vtubers anymore, a Holo will never acknowledge my existence, she’ll never see me as more than just a number, she’ll never even read my comments and interact with me, meanwhile my 2views always treat me nicely, remember who I am and read pretty much all I say, it’s something Hololive will never be able to provide

When I got into niconico in the old days I only knew few words I had picked up from watching anime. When vtubers came along I could watch them understanding what they're saying and it was 95% thanks to watching niconico and anime (and occasionally checking words that come up often) and 5% thanks to "actual studying". So it's not as dumb and pointless as it may look or feel.
