I think it's less that Azki was too focused on just music and more that she barely streams. Unless Cover got a huge name as the vsinger streaming regularly will be important. Even they only do singing streams, interacting with and building a fan base should be top priority. They will lose most of the attention once gen 2 debuts if all they do is release music occasionally.

If you're talking about what she said during her 7th live, she said nothing of the sorts. All she talked about was how the AZKi project was originally set to end July 2022, but plans have now changed and she is moving from "route alpha" to "route beta". She made no mentions of INNK shutting down or moving into hololive. It wouldn't make sense to shut down INNK anyways since Cover is recruiting new VSingers.

Would streaming be a bad thing though? The auditions asked about any other streaming experience and there are plenty of vsingers/utaites that do stream. For some reason people also seem less inclined to subscribe to channels that only release music. Namirin has a 10 year old channel with some highly viewed cover songs including a 97 million view cover of renai circulation but only 287k subs. Doing regular singing streams would also allow the vsinger to earn money via superchat.

They don't. The only change to INNK is that, with upd8 closing down, it is now fully owned and managed by Cover. If anything, it makes them more willing to dump money (which they didn't have at the start of the project) into it.

I know streaming is good and there's nothing wron with it, but i just hate it when people make it an obligation of them to stream, especially saying shit making more variant contents. Azki already did a good job with her channel. She do a weekly karaoke and freetalk stream and her Azki72h was a hit among the indie msician. Innk is not shutting down. It's successful for what it's worth to the degree that Azki got a new 3D and 2D model. Her contract is supposed to expire but she's staying presumably because Azki is gaining more traction. She even turned on memberships on her channel because clearly, EOPs are drawn to her. Suisei didn't work out because Innk only had one producer that had their hands full with Azki. Apparently, A-chan made things possible for her to transfer. INNK has now shifted the way they are handling Azki, more streams more tractions. The ENVsjnger is busy making a song or an an EP. It takes time. Heck, even Gura hasn't even released her song. Only Mori can produce that fast.
