Aren't you tired of comparing numbers to hololive and other big companies? Of course you are. Lets discuss small numbers.

>How much subscribers should small vtubers target for in a month?
>What is a good amount of views should vtubers get for every 1k subscribers?

The more subscribers you have the worse the ratio becomes.

most holos have about 5 to 15% viewership on videos. stream attendance is much lower. the questions is how many whales they can harpoon.

Even getting 5% is hard for non-holo. It's depressing.

Poor Mikado has over 100k subs and averages 60 to 80 viewers per stream...

I've read once that youtubers getting 1000 subscribers in a month is considered fast. Is this true now? What is considered fast now?

It doesn't seem to be that hard. I was looking through my subs (mainly indies ranging from 2k to 300k subs) and only a few channels failed to get at least 5% viewership.
The old channels which used to be relevant in the past but have since faded into obscurity tend to be the ones who don't hit that 5% most of the time.

Towa recently scored rank 1 in growth with about 60.000 subs in a month i think.

Question
So if I was watching a Vtuber who has 270 subs but has like 23 watchers per stream and her totals views for the vod go to 150 and eventually go to 200 past a week and a half, is that considered a healthy number?

>> No.4623369

>>4623313
Anonchama. This is a small vtuber numbers thread. We don't compare with holos who have branding name to back them up.

>> No.4623390

>>4623334
Like I said the ratios get worse the more subs one has so ~10% live viewership and >50% vod viewership is as good as it will ever get. In absolute terms the numbers are literally nothing, of course, but that's only relevant if the vtuber is trying to grow their channel.

If you ar a JPindie, subs=dedicated fans, people who really into ur content
In EN/overseas case, subs doesnt equal dedicated fanbase. Especially nowdays where pity subs become a trend (ofcs it helps in someway like getting monetize faster).
So, getting 500-1k/month is already good enough if it means people actually tune in and watch ur content, buy ur merch, or support u in any way they can (making fanarts, music, etc.)

>subs=dedicated fans
But even in japan they aren't like that...

What is a common occurrence? The thread? The picture? The numbers?

>> No.4624831

>>4623275
Yeah that's fast. Usually growth like that dies at around 10-30k subs since the algo bumps you into a different category, possibly due to percentage sub/views on videos.
