Auditions dont really have any themes, the GAMERS audition was a unique situation, in which they were looking specifically for PRO gamers to add to their roster of talent, possibly to break into an E-sports market, so they had questions of what was your ranking, how many tourneys you had won, etc.
But that was like 6 months ago, I think that audition opened like a couple weeks after ILUNA debuted. And if XSOLEIL is supposed to be the sister wave of ILUNA that was scouted together, we have 3 gens in the waiting if every single audition since then is for a different gen.
My guess is some people have backed out or there's been issues, and this new audition is just to find a couple people to fill spots, not an entire new gen.

Tips on how to be more entertaining? Currently I'm a boring streamer who barely speaks. I feel like every stream is just me talking to chat instead of creating actual content so when there's no one in chat I become completely silent. I see popular vtubers are those with engaging personalities so I want to be more like that. Honestly I wish I could remain boring but comfy and cute (like Gura and Ina) but as an indie I don't think that's possible if I want to grow.

Yeah it's rough. Just realized that it is just how it is. Most people generally have between 1-3% average ccv to follower ratio.

One way to view followers is as the first level of viewer. Your job is to turn followers into occasional second screen viewers, occasional second screen viewers into passive watchers, passive watchers into regulars, and to become the oshi of your regulars. Getting a follow is just the first step of a long journey.

I've told other chuubas a million times. Nobody's here to see you filter yourself and hide your emotions. You have to mindkill yourself to the concept of shame and just allow the world to see the unhinged person you actually are. That's what viewers show up for and what gets casual viewers to hang around. Maybe I'm just weird, but having no viewers never really bothered me. Or at least I spent so much time streaming with 0 viewers that I really got used to it. I can keep going and being my normal self for hours without any chat or viewers watching me just fine. But seeing my viewer count go up really energizes me and pumps me up. So I don't think it is really that bad to keep your ccv up and to watch it. In fact I think it kind of teaches you what causes people to leave your stream and you can get a lot of useful info from watching your ccv over many streams.

This still works but it doesn't work if you're just sitting there like a doll on a shelf. Visuals are meant to draw the audience but you still have to keep them there. Several of the largest corpos aren't large for being wow lewd loud. They're specifically known for being reserved, poised, softspoken, and gentle. They are, however, still engaging. They draw at their audience to want to hear them and engage. You can't do that by just being present on screen.
