So seems like they changed customs to start on wednesday instead of monday. They also play 6 games instead of 7+extras like CR Cups do, 3 on both maps and start at 20 JST.

This is MUCH better than a full week of scrims imo. At first I was thinking of skipping this tournament because honestly 5+ hours of Apex for a week straight towards the end starts just giving me brain fog because of the overload + all the problems lately with everything but Apex content didn't have me very excited of the idea of another tournament.
However, 4 days with slightly shorter scrim days sounds absolutely fair.

And not just for me personally, I believe that this format is better for Matsuri as well. Starting a couple hours earlier keeps her rhythm in check, and just a few scrim days will probably keep her mental in check as well. Also if she decides to try and stream other stuff in addition (hopefully not), scrims ending earlier might actually raise the probability that she can actually deliver, since it's not past midnight like with CR scrims

I'm concerned about the ticket sales. Based on the likes of her membership posts, streams, and the participants on her live chat when she was performing on From 1st and that one time where the membership chat broke so people are using the free chat room to send comments, there are only about 500 Matsurisu in all of that. Remember that you only need like 2000 people to sell out an offline event, or even less depending on the venue. Among the millions of holo fans if she wasn't able to get 2000 people buying an offline ticket, that would be extremely unlikely
As for the online part, if we compare to Aqua's live, the tickets were 2k, not 6k. So that's much more affordable. And again, I'm guessing online viewing would remain free and on Youtube. People will give their "ticket money" through supas anyways. If it stayed free online she'd probably get closer to 50k or more since big events are well advertised by cover and other talents, and Hololive in general is much bigger now than mid-2020.

It IS the normal. 6 or 7 songs is how it's always been, except for guerrillas or "endurance" utawakus, where she has no setlist and takes random requests until she's tired. Though I do agree having a song or two more would make it feel much more fulfilling. It really makes a difference whether you "end" the stream at the 55 minute mark or 70 minute mark. I feel like some new viewers really miss a lot of Matsuri's potential since she still has good zatsu vibes in her sc readings, but only like a third of her viewers actually stay to watch them.

The spaces have a nice zatsudan feeling like TCs so no complaints about that. The platform is just really bad imo. Personally I chat a lot in her streams and this tweet system is just trash.
I'm also left a tad bitter since apparently this half-baked zatsu was the replacement for her stream she planned... I mean usually when chuubas talk about streams you'd expect it to be you know, a stream on youtube.
