Shin'eitai here. While I hate to admit it, kson joining VShojo has been a net positive outside of some fan reactions. Extra merch, sponsorships, actual tech support sometimes and more behind the scenes support that I can't quite recall at the moment. Her manager got brought on as JP staff and still personally manages kson. It's honestly not much different from when she was indie.

Biggest drawback I could see if Pika were to come back and join, she could be limited to Twitch like Nazuna is. Well... besides the endless schizos fans will have to endure if it somehow happens. I don't think it's a matter of popularity one way or the other. She absolutely is on record multiple times just in the last couple months about desperately wanting to do shit like 3D and not being able to because VOMS doesn't really do anything for her in the first place.

Leaving VOMS won't necessarily make Pika more popular, she may very well lose more viewers than she gains, but it will give her more control over her career and what she wants to do with it.
