They debuted in the beginning of 2020 when Holo clips were reaching fever pitch, and people who wanted to move on from translated clips to streams could use the Indonesians as a pseudo-EN group until a real EN came along. Holo fans did this for ID2 as well, which is why the first 6 members all have huge sub counts but dog water ccv. There was even that time HoloID management tried to force them to do more Indo streams because they probably saw the stats and found that their success was coming from outside of Indonesia. Even Zeta and Kaela are probably bigger in EN due to their streaming consistency that HoloEN don't have.

NijiID lived and died on the sword of trying to appeal primarily to Indonesians. Mika is the only person who subverted this and, to no one's surprise, she has the same ccv as HoloID1 and 2 with less than half the subs.

TL;DR - HoloID has more EN fans propping juicing them. NijiID don't. Indonesia is a fucking god awful market.
