The idea of having Hololive and Holostars performing together was not bad, but it was one of the worst times to execute it and they fucked up by making both streams have the same songs happening at the same time. The absolute majority of both audiences would prefer 3 songs performed by members of the respective branches and not a shoehorned collab part just so that Cover can act like there's any sense of unity within HoloPro. I really hope they move away from the corpo enforced unity shit and let it happen naturally. If the members want to do it they'll do it on their own time, such as birthday and anniversary lives, or maybe a unit live like how it happened with Matsuri and Rikka back in 2020. No need to push for anything beyond this.

Ganchan yume here so take anything I say with a pinch of salt. He's definitely not a fantastic singer, far from it, but in my non-professional opinion he has potential, and he's really not bad right now. His 8000 yen mic makes him sound worse than he is because it peaks when he belts. He loses the rhythm sometimes, and he misses notes, but with practice and more training I think he could be pretty good. He's a great performer and goes at it with passion, which I think is a real positive.

Personally, I think the girls themselves know that collabing with the boys is gonna open up a lot of potential for other good stuff. The collab part of the countdown live is pretty damn well received and the 3 performances were all great, Suisei/Astel/Izuru's Cinema is arguably the best performance overall.
There's probably an uncertainty regarding the unicorns' reception to live/stars collabs, but the overall global push for HoloPro in general should have brought in sufficient non-unicorns to drown out the unicorns. Any shitstorms then should easily be dealt with using the anti-harassment thing Holo and Niji has.

Best way to really promote Stars/Live unity is unironically just letting HoloID do their thing. Do a HoloID/Holostars live.
