Though to be fair, if you consider "well, what other orisong should she have done then?" and remember that the most "crowd-compatible" one (Hinotori) is off the table because she already did it last year, there's Sparks, Heart Challenger and Fever Night. While Sparks is the best of the bunch, it's arguable if it would've worked better than DO U (given that it kinda also has the same issue of not really being a traditional jpop idol song with simple clear crowd sections), but I can see why DO U was chosen given it is more recent and thus "hotter", and better than Fever Night or Heart Challenger at least anyways.
